News: Fresher's Info

Hey guys. nice to see so many of you out at the practices, keep it up!

Now we've got something a bit different to shake your sunday up a bit. As per usual we've got a practice at 2pm at Exhibition Park but after that, around 4ish, we're gonna have another of our ace BBQs because us Too Many Pies lot love to eat and you should too so come along, bring some bevvies, a coupla sausages or burgers and your lovely selves and we'll have a jolly old shindig (even if it decides to rain so don't be put off!)

so 2pm this sunday for frisbee or, if you're in one of those lazy sunday kinda moods just pop along around 4ish with some supplies and join in the festivities. it'd be lovely to see you all and then if you're feeling really in the party mood we might be gracing Venue with our presence for the Reggae night........

Some people have expressed confusion regarding training times...so here are the sessions we have left this week - remember, as of next week, we lose the light and Tues and Thurs sessions too...Oh, and yes, I did send my slight wingy email to freshers instead of current pies...doh!

* Thurs 5-7pm, Exhibition Park - the LAST evening session.. at Exhibition Park.

* Fri 6-7pm, Indoors*** (University sports centre) open to all women please (you need recreation sports centre membership for this)

* Fri 7-8pm, Indoors*** (University sports centre) all new & old players welcome

* Sun 2-4pm, Exhibition Park & details to follow in an email!

If you have boots/studs bring them to the outdoor sessions...

the time has come for the beginers tournaments.
the beginers tournaments are.

manchester 13th 14th oct
sheffield 20th 21st oct
loughborough 27th 28th oct
edinburgh 27th 28th oct

please let George know ASAP which you will want to do. ask your friends, get them signed up too!

the places are given away on a first come first served basis..

they are indoor tournaments with a massive emphasis on having fun, with a huge party on the saturday night.

The tournament will cost £25 and it will be the best weekend of your life.

I look forward to hearing from you and having a great time with you at the tournament

First of all, I just wanna say a big H E L L O to those of you who signed up for Ultimate Frisbee at the Fresher's Fair on monday & tuesday. It was great to meet so many of you and I really hope you come down to our Beach BBQ and some of our [free] training sessions to get a taste of what we're all about!!

**edit: We will be picking up people from the Union 15mins before fresher practice sessions!!
